Our Policy.

 MytechMate will attempt to diagnose your technology problem, provide an estimate of applicable service fees     (plus applicable taxes), and then provide you with a technology solution On-Site, In–shop or through our Remote repair service.

We will always be fair with you, and give a clear, non-technical description of your computer problem. We will explain the pros and cons of the different options for repairing your computer, and give you the most accurate estimate possible.

Privacy Policy.

It is not our usual practice to access customer data. Any customer data temporarily archived by MyTechMate, either by customer’s separate service request or in the course of a Remote Access Repair Service, will not be shared in any manner or with any other entity or person, in accordance with applicable law regarding confidentiality of customer data.

Computer Service and Repair Terms and Conditions.
  • An adult over the age of 18 must be present while technician is on-site.

  • Computer must be easily accessible at time of appointment.

  • Customer is responsible to provide licensed operating system software, and restore software, if needed to complete a repair.

  • A complete backup of the computer is recommended and data backup may be required before repairs or upgrades will begin.

  • Parts and software purchased for repair are subject to their individual warranty as applied by the manufacturer.

  • Microsoft Windows® XP operating systems must have Service Pack 3 installed and may require additional configuration charges.

  • The Virus Removal Guarantee. If we clean viruses and the computer is re-infected in the first 30 days, we will perform virus removal one time at no charge. This applies to residential on-site and in-shop customers only and the computer must be running a top-tier, non-free edition anti-virus software.

  • Changes in appointments should be made at least 24 hours in advance by calling 469-248-0155.

  • MyTechMate reserves the right to rearrange or cancel appointments but will make every effort to accommodate customer’s first choice of date and time.

  • Additional charges apply for required (or optional) parts and/or hardware and software upgrades needed to complete the requested service.

  • MyTechMate guarantees the workmanship of the requested service for seven days following the date the service was performed. Subsequent reconfiguration or changes and modifications to the computers or products serviced void the labor warranty.

  • Standard MyTechMate service delivery is considered within Dallas and Collin Counties. Additional charges may apply for travel beyond the standard service area.

  • Service charges must be paid at the time of service via Cash, Personal Check, Company Check, or Credit Card . No returns on completed repairs.

  • MyTechMate will be held harmless for adverse effects to customer equipment resulting from the installation of third party software or device drivers and hardware belonging to or purchased by the customer.

SERVICE LIMITATIONS; LIABILITY

(a) LIMITATIONS TO SERVICE:

MyTechMate RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFRAIN FROM PROVIDING ANY OR ALL REQUESTED SERVICES AND INSTEAD REFUND YOUR PAYMENT, WHOLLY OR IN PART, ON THE BASIS THAT YOUR TECHNICAL NEEDS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS ARE UNUSUAL OR EXTENSIVE AND BEYOND THE SCOPE OF THIS SERVICE AGREEMENT AS REASONABLY DETERMINED BY MyTechMate.

(b) FORCE MAJEURE: If MyTechMate’s ability to render services is impaired by you or circumstances beyond the control of MyTechMate, MyTechMate may choose not to provide or to discontinue services.

(c) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the extent permitted by law, you agree that MyTechMate’s total liability for damages related to its services is limited to the total amount you pay for the repair, and you release MyTechMate from liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. MyTechMate IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOSS, ALTERATION, OR CORRUPTION OF ANY DATA OR FOR YOUR INABILITY TO USE YOUR EQUIPMENT OR OTHER PRODUCT.

 
Pirate Software

Under no circumstances do we work with pirated software (i.e. burned CDs).
